The NFL will celebrate this season’s NFL Kickoff, presented by EA Sports, in New Orleans. For the first time in NFL history, the NFL has partnered with Kern Studios at Mardi Gras World to produce a Mardi Gras style parade, titled the Krewe of NFL Kickoff Parade, to ring in its 91st season. The NFL Kickoff will take place in the French Quarter on Thursday, September 9th, the date of the NFL season opener at the Superdome as the New Orleans Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings.
The Dauphine Orleans Hotel is just steps from the day’s festivities in the French Quarter. The Kickoff will be televised live from Jackson Square from 6:30 – 7:30 CST on NBC and NFL Network, leading up to the season opener.
