The staff was wonderful. If you are making reservations or need any help ask for Kathy in sales. She was great. The 1st night there we had a problem with a wet mattress. Upon calling the front desk we were moved immediately. The bellman, and maid staff are the best. Unlike some hotels the sheets are changed every day. The turnback service and newpaper are a nice touch. The fitness room is alot better then most hotels. Morning breakfast is your typical contiental breakfast except Bernice makes it fun and enjoyable. For a good place to listen to music go to the Blues Club on Bourbon near Iberville. (Not Bourbon St Blues Club). Good live blues the way it should be played with a relaxed fun atmosphere. For a good place for a real nice meal go to Ralphs on the Park. Great food, Great staff. I would give the Dauphine 4 1/2 stars. Will be back.
