We and another coupled stayed at the Dauphine the first week of October, 2003. The atmosphere was perfect, from the room to the many courtyards, hot tub and the breakfast room. The free morning continental breaksfasts were fabulous. I think we could have been satisfied at Mae Bailey's (Dauphine's own), enjoying this beautiful little bar, so full of history and atmosphere, and had the greatest time without ever walking the one block up to Bourbon Street. We will stay here again and suggest to everyone to do the same. Thanks to the Dauphine!
