I chose the Dauphine over the Sheraton where I recently attended a conference. The price was more competitive and the hotel has much character. The location is ideal - an easy walk to Canal and Decature Streets where you'll find Cafe Du Monde and wonderful restaurants and shopping. My room in the courtyard was private, quiet and very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. I will return to the Dauphine when I return for vacation with my family.
