I just spent 10 days at the Dauphine Orleans, through French Quarter Fest, and Jazz Fest. It was a wonderful stay, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to all the FQ action, but very quiet, with comfortable beds. Great restaurants nearby, felt very safe walking around as a solo female traveler. The breakfast was very good, nice bar and pool area. A few blocks from Canal, easy to catch the streetcar. Old New Orleans feel, with modern upgrades, WiFi and complimentary use of lobby computer. Highly recommend it and would stay there again. Thanks, Dauphine Orleans and staff for a marvelous NOLA experience! Loved it!
