My Dear friends at the Dauphine Hotel in New Orleans ... only a few months ago we stayed at your wonderful hotel for the Oltz - Jenkins wedding. And for many years we have visited the Dauphine in NOLA regularly. You are a home away from home. Only a few hours ago we read on the news that New Orleans faces a mandatory evacuation because of hurricane Gustav. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We feel helpless because there is nothing we can do, except hope for the best. We hope you, and your family and friends, and guests, will be safe in the days to come.
