I have stayed at the Dauphine Orleans twice now. Once for business and once for pleasure. Both times were absolutely fantastic. I love the charm of the hotel and it's close proximity to everything New Orleans has to offer. Even though your hotel is only one block from Borubon street, it is a quiet and peaceful respite only steps away from the madness! What a pleasure it is to return to your comfortable rooms after a long day of touring to lay your head on the soft goose down pillows! The concierge service is impeccable and I have been told by some friends who have stayed at other more "commercial" hotels, that your is where they will stay in the future. I am planning a trip for my wedding anniversary in September, and I can scarcely wait!
