I stayed in one of the rooms at the Dauphine during Hurricane Katrina. The hotel held up quite nicely.... The staff was very professional up to and after the hurricane. Thank goodness for the continental breakfast food items! I am looking into returning in the spring and will definitely have the Dauphine as one of my top choices to call.
